How did it get started?
Years ago Michael and Kathy Wills started enjoying oysters and martinis at the end of the work week and they would post pictures on their social media. After a while, their friends started sending them pictures when they had oysters and martinis as well. At the time there was a National Oyster Day and a National Martini Day but oddly, there was no day dedicated to the pairing of the two. In 2023, that changed!
April 13th is now officially National Oysters and Martinis Day! It also happens to be Michael and Kathy's anniversary!
